We’re reviewing how we support children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health. We want to make sure public funding is used in the best way to meet the needs of young people across the county.
Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board and Lincolnshire County Council fund services to help children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health. Find out more about these service here.
Right now, Kooth, an online counselling service, is available in Lincolnshire for young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 for care leavers or those with SEND). Kooth offers:
one to one chats with trained professionals
group chats and forums
self-help tools like articles and advice on topics like stress, anxiety, relationships, bullying and more
We’re asking for your views on online counselling, priorities and impacts of potential service change.

If you work for or represent any organisation that works with or supports children and young people in Lincolnshire – including health and care-related organisations such as the NHS, local authority, voluntary groups, commissioned services, or other relevant stakeholders – you are invited to complete our stakeholder survey.
Once the consultation closes, we’ll carefully consider all feedback before making a final decision.
