Thank you for your contributions to the Children and Young People's Nursing Service.

We will continue to use this page to keep you informed about progress with the project.

This is what we asked you.

Help us to shape the future Children and Young People’s Nursing (CYPN) Service

The Children and Young People’s Nursing (CYPN) Service is part of Lincolnshire County Council’s Children’s 0 to 19 Health Service. This is a targeted public health service for Lincolnshire children and young people who are in school year 1 (aged 5 or 6) up to the age of 19 years (or 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The CYPN Service supports the delivery of the 5 to 19 (25 SEND) Healthy Child Programme (HCP) along with other services in Lincolnshire.

The national HCP guidance has been updated and we are reviewing our CYPN Service to ensure it is still aligned to the updated HCP guidance for 5 to 19 (25 SEND).

The CYPN Service has been providing early intervention and prevention for bladder and bowel support which is not part of the 5-19 (25 SEND) HCP. This support was not intended to be part of the CYPN Service and is impacting on the CYPN Service’s ability to deliver against the 5-19 (25 SEND) HCP.

We want to hear from you on what your priorities are for the CYPN Service. Your feedback will help to shape the future CYPN Service delivery model.
