Engagement has concluded

Following an event and the Q&A page on this site, a planning application has been submitted. A news release has also been issued to local media to inform residents of the proposal.

Lincolnshire County Council would like to build a new six-bedroom children’s home on the former Pilgrim School site on Victoria Road, Louth. It could provide residential care for 12–18 year-olds, creating a domestic and homely environment for them. It will be designed to cater for their individual needs and strengths, helping them to reach their aspirations.

On Thursday 24 March, from 3pm to 7pm, members of the project team held a drop-in event at the Louth Riverhead Theatre (Victoria Road, LN11 0BX) to provide further information on the proposals.

In the meantime, or if you were unable to attend the event, residents could use the question tool below to ask questions about the plans. A member of the project team aimed to answer your question within a few days.

There is consultation on the proposals, as part of the planning process, so people in the area can share their views. We will inform local residents of progress.
