Greece has better roads than us

THIS IS BOTH SHAMEFUL AND DEPRESSING

I go to Greece on holiday frequently, and for the first time in 20 years, our roads are noticeably worse than theirs.

This is despite the famous financial crisis and the earthquakes factors.

Our roads are Third World roads unfit for car use.

I live at post code PE12 0TX. on B1166, my car hits the road at the underside.I have a normal height car.

The old road from Dowsdale to Crowland is virtually impossible use without causing serious damage to the underside of the car.

High Claims Commitment

I hit a pothole traveling from Metheringham to woodhall spa which resulted in a burst tyre and cracked wheel hub, not a good thing to change a tyre in the dark, in the rain, on a bend in the road with reasonably heavy traffic. That cost the council over £800 for my claim, not what I pay my road fund licence for.

I have used fix my street quite a few times of late. The repairs have all been carried out within a reasonable time.I also, using the same site, told the council how bad our paths are. It has taken a while, but they have been, they have dug out the old, and completely renewed the paths. They have done a wonderful job and should be commended for once instead of criticised!
