Main Road Potholes

I am particularly concerned by potholes in the main part of the carriageway. We assume that there will be damage at the edge but nearer the centre they cannot be avoided when the road is busy with twoway traffic. At night they cannot be seen with approaching headlights.

I have to say that the A153 between Sleaford and the coast is in a shocking condition. there are countless potholes and even surface slippage ( on the approach to Anwick from Sleaford) It is beyond comprehension that the road has had money spent on re white lining it , with the white lines disappearing into the potholes! You couldn't make it up. I realize the budget for this is separate and probably done by a different contractor but what a huge waste of money. The less said about Chapel lane in Anwick the better.
