Mill Green road - Pinchbeck

Over the past two years I have written 3 tyres off on the same stretch of road leading into Mill Green on the outskirts of Pinchbeck. It has been dark and after a heavy down pour the pot holes fill up with water making them nigh on impossible to see until the last minute when it is too late to avoid them.

I have had the cost of one tyre refunded by the county council but this refund nowhere near covers the cost and inconvenience caused having to change the tyre in the rain and dark and then get a replacement. The Council claims procedure is not straight forward and when eventually after at least three phone calls my claim was approved I was only offered 80% of the cost of a new tyre due to apparent wear and tear. My claim was for a small budget tyre costing £45 ! Customer Service at it's best NOT ! Come on Boris give LCC more money so that they can at least try and maintain the 6.5k miles of roads of the second largest English county by area to a reasonable standard.
