Regarding the recent controversy over this road in the press, the road was closed for 7months last year and since it opened last november there has been 21accidents and cars in ditches everyone that visits our business or house says this must be the most dangerous road in the county ,we were told this road would be closed when the Cowbit bypass was built but no that did not happen.

All the local councillors know what this road is like but say nothing can be done about it, if we start with a 40mph speed limit it would be a help ,like all the roads leading to Lincoln from this area. One councillor suggests putting stop signs at the old fendyke road - clay lake bank Xroads but that would not stop speeding traffic.
