Share your views on healthy lifestyle services in Lincolnshire!

We’re reviewing how we support people to live healthier lives. We want to make sure public funding is used in the best way to support people across the county.

The council receives a grant from the government that must be used to fund activities that improve the health and wellbeing of Lincolnshire residents. We use the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) to understand local needs and guide how this funding is used.

Part of the grant is currently used to deliver the Integrated Lifestyle Service, known as ‘One You Lincolnshire’. This service helps people lose weight, be more active, drink less alcohol, and stop smoking. There is also support for child and family weight management and a strength and balance (falls prevention) service.

We’re asking for your views on how best to use this funding. This includes feedback on the current service and whether other priorities might better meet the needs of our communities.

Whether you’ve used the service, live in Lincolnshire, or work in health and care - we want to hear from you.

You’ll be asked to consider three options:

  • Continue delivering the current Integrated Lifestyle Service in full
  • Stop delivering some parts of the Integrated Lifestyle Service and reallocate some of the funding to other council services that support healthy lifestyles
  • Stop delivering the Integrated Lifestyle Service entirely and reallocate all the funding to other council services that support healthy lifestyles

You can share your views by completing our public survey.

If you work for or represent any organisation that works with or supports the Integrated Lifestyle Service in Lincolnshire – including health and care-related organisations such as the NHS, local authority, voluntary groups, commissioned services, or other relevant stakeholders – you are invited to complete our stakeholder survey.

Once the consultation closes, we’ll carefully consider all feedback before making a final decision.
