Help improve support for autistic people and their carers in Lincolnshire

This engagement has concluded

Lincolnshire Autism Partnership Logo

There is a new Autism strategy for England; the strategy outlines the Government’s plans to improve services and support. This plan includes things like:

  • making sure everyone has a better understanding of autism
  • autistic children and young people get the right education
  • autistic people getting jobs
  • autistic people getting the right health care and community support
  • autistic people getting good support in the justice system e.g. from the police and prisons

The Lincolnshire Autism Partnership Board (LAPB) is looking at the national strategy to see what we can do, and how we can improve local services.

We want to hear the views of autistic children, young people, adults, carers, professionals, organisations and any other interested people who live and work in Lincolnshire.

Your answers to this survey, along with the workshops we have been running, will help us to develop a new local plan to improve support for autistic people and their carers.

Your voice is really important to shape services for autistic people.

If you have any questions about the survey, please email Autism.Partnership@lincolnshire.gov.uk or call us on 01522 554089 during office hours.

How you can take part

Please complete one of the following surveys to tell us what you think and share your ideas. We have designed the survey to be as easy to use as possible. As we want to make different people fill in the survey we have designed slightly different surveys to make this easier.

A survey for anyone - this has been designed for anyone, including autistic people, carers and professionals.

A survey for autistic children and young people – this survey has been designed by Lincolnshire Young Voices. If you are an autistic child or young person you may prefer to complete this survey.

An Easy Read survey has been designed by Voiceability for people with learning disabilities. If you have a learning disability you may prefer to complete this survey.

If you would like a paper copy of one of the surveys or an Easy Read version please email Autism.Partnership@lincolnshire.gov.uk or call us on 01522 554089 during office hours.

The surveys close at midnight on Thursday 21 October 2021.
