Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project

I have been volunteering with the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project (hosted by Lincolnshire County Council) since December in a graduate volunteer role. This often involves helping with surveying, as well as other conservation work. I was able to receive a training budget so I can attend training courses suited to my interests. I have also been able to develop 'hands-on' environmental skills which will really help my CV.

Overall, it has been a really great opportunity and I would recommend anybody interested in conservation to get involved and volunteer!
