This is what we asked you.
The NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2020 came into force on 1st October 2020. Health Boards are required to produce a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). A PNA will review the locations, accessibility and services provided by pharmacies in Lincolnshire now, and with a view to the future. (Pharmacies are often called, “chemists”).
The Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) must produce a PNA at least every three years. This is to ensure that the best decisions are made for the people of Lincolnshire.
To achieve the best outcomes, the HWB consulted people across Lincolnshire about the PNA.
The consultation was open for 60 days, from 19 April 2022 to 20 June 2022.
