Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2022

Thank you for taking part in this survey, this engagement is now closed.  We will provide any feedback on the outcomes of this survey in the near future on this page.

This is what we asked you.

The NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2020 came into force on 1st October 2020. Health Boards are required to produce a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). A PNA will review the locations, accessibility and services provided by pharmacies in Lincolnshire now, and with a view to the future. (Pharmacies are often called, “chemists”).

The Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) must produce a PNA at least every three years. This is to ensure that the best decisions are made for the people of Lincolnshire.

To achieve the best outcomes, the HWB is consulting people across Lincolnshire about the PNA.

The consultation is open for 60 days, from 19 April 2022 to 20 June 2022.

Prior to completing the survey, you will need to read the Lincolnshire draft PNA Needs Assessment 2022. The draft PNA can be found under the heading Documents on the right-hand side of this page. The Executive Summary can be found on pages 9 to 11 and the Statements are on pages 62 to 63.

A paper copy of the draft PNA and questionnaire can be requested by email from HWB@lincolnshire.gov.uk before Friday 27 May 2022. It will be sent with a pre-paid return envelope for your comments.

For help with reading the draft PNA and completing the questionnaire, please contact Healthwatch Lincolnshire on 01205 820892 or info@healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk
