Consultation has concluded.
Thank you for your contributions to the School admissions policy consultation.
The decision was made to reduce:
the PAN at Legbourne East Wold Church of England Primary School from 17 to 15
the PAN at North Cockerington Church of England Primary School from 12 to 10
The school admissions policy was determined on 24 February 2025. Visit school admissions policies page to view the final school admissions policies and schemes.
This is what we asked you.
Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is seeking your input on proposed changes to the admissions policy for maintained schools for the 2026-2027 school year.
As the admissions authority, LCC ensures that each school has a clear policy explaining how applications are processed, including each school’s published admissions number (PAN)—the minimum number of places available for new students in the intake year.
We are consulting on:
Changing the PAN at Legbourne East Wold Church of England Primary School. Reducing the minimum number of places from 17 to 15
Changing the PAN at North Cockerington Church of England Primary School. Reducing the minimum number of places from 12 to 10
These changes will help schools better meet regulations, which limit infant class sizes to 30 students.
In addition, the text of the policy has been simplified so it is easier to understand. There are no other changes proposed.
We invite you to share your thoughts on these proposed adjustments!
