You are invited to attend the stakeholder workshop 'Road Safety on the A1'.

Cllr Richard Davies, Executive member for Highways at Lincolnshire County Council is hosting a workshop which will bring together both the public and representatives from organisations such as Lincolnshire County Council, Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and National Highways, to discuss the A1, present, and future.

The event will take place on Wednesday 12 March 2025, at 7pm – 9pm. The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours, and will be hosted at The Olde Barn Hotel, Toll Bar Rd, Marston, Grantham, NG32 2HT.

The aim of the workshop will be to gain a joint understanding of the A1 from a road safety point of view.

The A1 is of critical importance to this region. Not only is it vital to supporting economic growth for business, job creation and housing development but it is part of the day-to-day experience of living in this part of our county. Consequently, the use of the A1 continues to rise and, alongside that, continues to be a source of road safety issues.
