Nettleham
Thank you for accessing the Active Travel Fund survey.
The proposed scheme would see
1. The closure of the parking bays next to the Co-Op on Vicarage Lane by means of temporary planters. This would reduce motor traffic flows/engine idling and enable easier access to the cycle rack beside the Co-Op.
2. Cross Street Low Traffic Neighbourhood - A point closure using traffic planters will be implemented midway along Cross Street to stop through motor traffic and allow an improved walking and cycling space
3. One Way system outside the Co-Op – this would only allow cars to drive east-west on the short stretch of road outside the Co-Op/florist. This would simplify motor traffic flows in the vicinity of the Co-Op and help promote pedestrian and bicycle access.
The survey is split into two parts, firstly there is a general attitudes survey on transport then there is a brief second section for you to comment on the proposed scheme. The survey will remain live until 17th December 2021.
