What do you think of Lincolnshire County Council’s budget proposals?

Tell us what you think before 5pm on 27 January 2026:

This year's budget proposal asks you to consider three scenarios:

  • Scenario 1 is a 4.99% increase and no deficit (we balance the budget as outlined in the report)
  • Scenario 2 is a 4.49% increase. That is only £8.10 a year cheaper than scenario 1 for a band D property but leaves us with a shortfall of more than £2m that will need to be addressed
  • Scenario 3 is a 3.99% increase. That is only £8.10 a year cheaper than scenario 2 and £16.20 a year cheaper than scenario 1 for a band D property but leaves us with a shortfall of more than £4m that will need to be addressed

These are not the only options available, but the scenarios help us get an idea of your views.

Please use the survey to provide your feedback, which will be shared with the Executive on 3 February and will help influence a decision by the Full Council on 20 February 2026.
