1x Front Beam 2x Damaged Tires, 2x Damaged Wheels. on 3x Vehicles in the last year

This is getting ridiculous as we will be claiming against the county council for the damages caused due to hitting potholes not once but

three times...

FIRST TIME, new front beam on our classic car, which was in the £1000's just for the replacement and the rework, £300+ for towing home and towing to garage.

SECOND TIME we paid for the repair ourselves which included the wheel and tire for our Clio which cost us over £300.

THIRD TIME But this time my son's car hits a pothole near between Ancaster and Cranwell and needs a replacement tire which is nearly £200 just for the tire and has damaged the wheel... Ended being up towed being home, nearly 4 hours later no transport to get back to base as it was nearly one in the morning. Then he incurred costs for getting a train as he was on the early part of his journey back to Nr Telford.

No Signage to notify of known potholes, no restriction of speed. The county council also has a responsibility and duty of care for the safety of the public. IF You know there are potholes, which you did as there were signs for the road being closed off for repairs, put appropriate restrictions and signage.

If I didn't pay my taxes to the amount I have lost thanks to the poor roads of Lincolnshire, I would be locked up for nonpayment...

I also recommend that the council and government issues quality standards on third parties that dig the road for repairs that they seal repairs as nearly ALL the potholes are old repairs not sealed to save money... Stop keep playing the short game, do things properly. Also invest in scanning roads, even the road we live on has had potholes for years and nothing done apart from a patch that lasts one season then painted over with line paint...
