Major roads Major Potholes

Yes we live in the countryside with very poor road infrastructure. The major roads are poorly maintained with most A roads having no dual carriageways, so you get on a major road and travel behind lorries that are travelling behind tractors so progress around Lincolnshire is generally slow.

Its amazing how Lincolnshire can claim poor funding when we see it poorly managed. I have recently seen this when reporting major potholes from Horncastle to Haltham. A full team were sent out to repair a series of holes on one side of the road - EXCELLENT RESPONSE. However one day later on the opposite side of the carriage way I had to report an equally large hole that should have been repaired the previous day! Such a waste of public money, although this was repaired three days later.

We also see a small road in the backs of Kirkby on Baine having a full team re-surface, even thought the road was not in as poor a condition, yet the main road through the village is a disgrace. It makes you think why or who lives on this back road?
