We'd like to find out what's most important to you about nature in Greater Lincolnshire, to help us identify our priorities for protecting and enhancing it in the future.Your responses will help inform a new Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Greater Lincolnshire.

There were 1,631 responses to the survey and the project page had 3,600-page visitors. Of the 1,631 responses, 1,480 said nature was very important to them. 1,183 named woodlands and 820 named coastal as their most important habitats in Lincolnshire. 990 named birds and 801 named wildflowers as their most important species in Lincolnshire. 1243 put space for wildlife as the most important environmental priority for Lincolnshire.

Further engagement has since taken place over July - August 2024, which was targeted to farmers and landowners. There were 141 responses to the survey and the project page had 854 page visitors. The data from this engagement will further contribute towards the strategy written by the GNLP team which is due to be consulted on in late 2025.
