We manage the public rights of way network and have an improvement plan.
There have been significant changes since our last plan so we need to update our understanding. You can view the plan using rights of way improvement plan. We’ll refresh it in 2025 so we’d like to know what you believe the network and its users need.
Our aim isn’t to gather feedback on the state of specific routes, but what you say will help us set aspirational priorities for the next 10 years.

We will only use the information you provide for the purposes of gathering feedback on the current and likely future needs of the public, relating to the Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2025 and access to the countryside. The purposes of this consultation and survey, are set out in more detail, in the Statement of Need Consultation document.
