Countryside Access Volunteer - fresh air and well being

A year ago I signed up to be a Countryside Access Volunteer, I was already walking PPPP DIVA miles a week and we had got stuck in a rut of the same old walks, and moaning about broken finger posts.

Volunteering not only enabled me to explore new routes and villages around our spectacular county, it also enabled me to fix problems, report barriers and enable other people to access the countryside "problem free"

The team that run the volunteering are so friendly and helpful, all the tools and maps are provided and they action issues promptly.

I would really recommend volunteering, fresh air, exercise and good for your mental health and well being.

Outside of LCC volunteering, I am also a Marine Mammal Medic with the BDRML - so I can continue my "apparent" obsession with the fabulous Lincolnshire Coast
