Outstanding issues in Scothern

Detailed below are outstanding Highway issues in Scothern:-

Overgrown hedge on junction of Lime Tree Paddock/Main Street preventing use of the metalled footpath by pedestrians/wheelchairs/pushchairs - ongoing since 2014.

Maintenance to the cycle path on eastern side of Sudbrooke Road (between the villages of Scothern and Sudbrooke and used by school children who scoot and cycle to school) - ongoing since 2016.

Maintenance of the metalled footpath on the western side of Sudbrooke Road (between the villages of Scothern and Sudbrooke used by walkers, children walking to school - it is currently not fit for wheelchairs and/or push chairs - ongoing since 2016.

Resurfacing of Dunholme Road, Scothern from Heath Road to the Bottle and Glass at its junction with Sudbrooke Road - ongoing since 2020. Funding was withdrawn for works to be undertaken in 2021/22 financial year. Apparently funding available for works to commence in 2022/23.

Repairs to culvert of beck flowing through Scothern on Main Street adjacent to War Memorial - has been hit by HGV or heavy farm vehicle and become dislodged. Ongoing since 2021.

Flooding adjacent to 23 Main Street, Scothern - works to offlets/culvert adjacent beck - ongoing since 2016.
