Thank you to everyone who shared their views on our Household Waste Recycling Centres!

Please see below an update of the results as of 24 January 2026.

We’re incredibly grateful for the 2,092 responses, and your feedback is already helping us shape future improvements across Lincolnshire.

What you’re most satisfied with:

No charge for waste disposal – 1,434 responses (69.5%)
Friendly and helpful staff – 1,151 responses (55.8%)
A good range of accepted items – 1,078 responses (52.3%)

Overall satisfaction was strong, with 44% saying they were satisfied and 28% very satisfied with their local HWRCs.

Where you’d like to see improvements:

Reducing queuing and waiting times – 1,040 responses (51.1%)
Additional unloading areas – 954 responses (46.9%)
Better traffic management – 815 responses (40%)

We're continuing to explore these areas as part of our ongoing site reviews and improvement planning.

We know many of you would like extended opening times, more open days, or even additional sites. Unfortunately, due to current budget limitations, these changes aren’t feasible at the moment, but your feedback remains invaluable in guiding future planning.
